5 and a half long hours were spent on Saturday installing the new projector into the church. Well done to Luke, Dad and Nick, we did a good job and thanks for your ladder Andy!
The weekend saw the first baptism of the summer. A lovely young lady by the name of Amy was baptised in our church. Her family are currently living in Lyon in France and she had asked to be baptised at Hightown. Was great to hear her testimony and be a part of her stand for the Lord in leading some of the music on my guitar.
Having installed the projector on Saturday we thought we'd give it a full scale test and watch a dvd. So some of the older young people of the church gathered with my laptop and dad's Matrix dvd and gave themselves a trial screening of The Matrix on big screen. Good fun!
The rest of the week has been spent the same as the first 2 weeks of the holidays!
