Management

The Board is headed by a Non-Executive Chairman and comprises of the Cheif Executive,four further executive directors and six non-executive directors.The Board meets regularely throughout the year.There is an agreed list of matters, which are always dealt with by the Board, such as approval of the group strategy plan and group budget, major acquisitions and disposals, as well as major capital spend. The Board approves the issue of final and interim results and the annual and interim accounts.

The roles of Chairman and Chief Executive are separated. The Chairman�s role includes maintaining the strategic impetus of the Group and developing the appropriate organisational structure for an international business. The Chief Executive is responsible for day to day operational affairs, particularly the challenges of integrating new acquisitions and chairs the Executive Management Group.

The Board believes that the complementary roles of executives and non-executive directors, who all have considerable experience in senior appointments in other companies, works well and allows for well-informed and broadly based debate.

Executive Management Group

The Executive Management Group (EMG), is responsible for delivering the operational objectives of the Group, and for recommending strategic developments to the Group Board.
The EMG is chaired by the Chief Executive and brings together key functional specialities and general managers of the business.
