Known Powers:
           Sniper is a shape shifter with a twist. He can only take on the forms of people who are dead. He can enter the minds of foes and take an image of a deceased loved one and take on that appearance to give him an edge in battle. He also carries a firearm, staff and a number of throwing knives into battle. He has excellent aim.
           Unlike most other mutants, Sniper's mutation was apparent from birth. His appearance was always what they are now although his twin brother had turned out normal. Sniper's powers manifested when his brother died at the age of 13.

History:
          Don was born with a strange facial skeleton, no eyelids, no hair and blue. His twin brother, John, was born normal which made him the favorite of his parents.
          Don scared his parents who, although they didn't want him didn't believe in adoption, locked him in the attic where he grew up. He was never allowed to come down, and his meals were always left for him in the inside of the entrance of the attic. Although his brother was forbidden to visit Don, John went to see his brother daily and they played together often.
         One day, when he was 13, John never came up to see Don. It was a few days before he got up the nerve to go downstairs and find out what happened. He heard that his brother, the only person who loved him, was dead. He had been hit by a car on the way home from school.
         Don was over whelmed by grief. It was then that he discovered his powers, when he misted into his brother's form. He then looked in the mirror and vowed to keep his brother's memory alive. He ran away from home a short time later and figured that his parents never even noticed. He joined an assassin agency at the age of fifteen by taking on the form of a man's father's dead friend. He took on the name Sniper because that was what he was best at.
         On a job he ran into Medusa who offered him a place on her team. He then faked his death before joining Medusa's team. He was the second recruit, after Tsunami, and one of the four original Gorgons that faced the Guardians. He kept the name Sniper because he had gotten used to it and didn't feel like looking for another.
         Because of the unease expressed by some members of his team when Sniper appears in his normal form, Sniper usually takes on the form of his brother and thus appears only 13.
