| 8 Jul 03 Saturday was CLVs [17th] and her brothers [21st] birthday party. So okay, it sort of started out kinda slow being there since 5 or 6pm but at least I got to finally dance! It was one of the reasons why I went. I didnt expect to be engulfed by mass amounts of cigarette smoke and smoke from the smoke machine all at the same time though But the cool thing was that they had a DJ style turn table (with a DJ?) and everythinginc. lights and a smoke machine [like I mentioned before]. It just kind of sucked how not a lot of people who were there weren't willing to dance for so and so reasons. 10:30pm was when I finally was able to get two other girls to dance with me. This led a lot more people to start dancing too instead of sitting around [probably drunk] and just being the keen observer they are! We asked for some R&B and danced for like maybe half an hour until the majority of the people on the dance floor went out for a smoke and one of the girls that I danced with initially [and her friends] had to go. Figures huh?! *rolls eyes* She did want to continue dancing though so it was a shame we had to stop. At this time there really werent that many people [I knew] left at the party so Anyway, I left like a half hour after that probably through sheer boredom (Im ashamed to say) and okay, I still had the cold and stuff too, so yeah wish it wasnt so cold this time of the year though. Man, that really sucks. At least I know therell be a whole lotta dancin at the formal and maybe even at an after-party! Cant wait for that. Tehehe Ive been told that I tend to veer towards the rave scene look, which I find bizarre because I dont actually see it (on the outside that is). But the first time I heard that was when I did work placement at Dymocks City and assisted two guys who said they worked at a massage place nearby. :-\ Mind you, I was wearing a tight, black, red pinstriped pant with a blue work shirt to which seemed bigger when I tried it on in the dressing room than it did when I wore it for work! So I dont know if he was trying to get me to that massage place after I finished or if it was an observation of truth. lol. At my sisters wedding, my cousin said that hes betting Ill be a rave chick [once Im legal] within seconds of seeing me dance on the dance floor. So whats up with that? lol. Maybe I do have the characteristics of what they call rave chick? I really dont know because whenever I dance in front of the mirror, it looks worse than what Ive been told and Im sure if those people were lying when they said I dance good, they wouldnt be seen anywhere dead near me on the dance floor! From CLVs party that night though, two of my friends (who attend FVHS) booked me for a dance at our year 12 formal. =) God I keep thinking about the dance that Elaine on Sienfield doesit just looks so funny. lol. 12 Jul 03 Just a few notes that are worth a mention: A few days ago, hearing voices outside, I peered through my one-way screen front door and saw two guys visiting my neighbour. The door didnt open for a while so I decided to continue looking through the dooryou know just in case I end up witnessing some robbery like my sister did once. So because our front door only enables the person on the inside of the house to see through to the other side of that door, I decided hey, Im not that busy anyway, so what the heck? Not like theyll know. So Im there for a few minutes as they continue knocking on my neighbours door. Someone opens the door and as one of the guys talks my neighbour, the other one loiters around. Through watching the guy who was walking around I picked up a few disgusting facts about I saw him [conjure up and] spit right onto the grass spot that our houses were separated by, scratch his crotch almost vigorously, and chew gum like some guy who took lessons on How To Chew Like A Cow. It was so far, the most disgusting line of actions Ive ever seen a person do all in one go. I swear I was about to shout out you disgusting, crotch-scratching, gum chewing little man!. Not that I was spying tehehe :- With those commercials I attempted to make notes on before [but my short attention span got in the way], I found another one. This is for the Golden Circle ad for their jam and while I enjoy those catchy one-liners ads these days have, Give a damn, about your Jam just makes me wanna shout Give a stuff, about your Crust or Give a par, about your Star or even Give a sh*t, about your Tits (sorry, inappropriate)! I swear that commercial is provoking me to do something really lame! lol. 29 Jul 03 Last week, if you asked me why I havent been at school and you were a good friend who I thought needed to know to truth, I would have said Im leaving school. Yesterday, if you had asked me the same question, I would have said Im leaving school. But today, if you ask me the exact same question I had an appointment with the schools Careers Advisor with my parents and my sister to discuss my options and what I could do for the remainder of the year if I decide to leave. Guess what? Im not leaving. So of the teachers Ive told yesterday that was leaving and a few of the students who, in the moment, seemed like they should know, Id have to tell them all that Im staying. Talk about spontaneity! Jesus! *rolls eyes* Im really not sure about this thoughstaying for the rest of the year The good thing is that Im only sitting for two of my HSC exams (4 unitsRetail and Maths) this year and the remainder next year (6 unitsEnglish, D&T, T&D) because Im planning to do a Pathway HSC Course. It also means that I only go to the classes that Im sitting the HSC for. But yes, that was T&D (textiles and design)! Im trying this one out because when I made the decision to drop it last year, I wasnt really thinking about which Id be better and get more marks for, I was thinking more about which Id benefit from if I became an Interior Designer (which is like something Ive wanted to do for a long time now). So like yeah, Im dropping ITG (graphics industries) and picking up T&D (Textiles). The only thing is, theres no year 11 T&D ATM which means theres no year 12 class either. However, if I could find a school that offers both D&T and T&D for next year, Id be able to do it for my HSC. So first Id hope Cecil Hills HS had it, but turns out they dont. Going down the list of possible schools to go to from Busby (like hell no! even if I was paid to go there I wouldnt! Dumbass school! lol) to Bonnyrigg (no thanks!) to Canley Vale :-| , I was beginning to think that Livo Girls was the only school good enough. Turns out they do both courses and now I have an interview with the Vice P. of the school on the 18th of August! I hope I get accepted. lol. At least Im not going to leave the school and my friends in which its name has been the only one Ive blessed myself with since Kindy until my year here ends! Okay so theres a chance I might have to leave earlier because usually year 12 starts around term 4 of year 11 but hmm *sigh* I guess continuing in another school aint too badId probably feel like a stranger being with the year 11s at school anyway. But yeah, just hope that I can get into Livo Girls and actually complete the rest of my HSC year on a good noteIve always wanted to do that. |
