March 2004 - Philippines House Building Project - I participated in a Habitat for Humanity house building project in Quezon City, The Philippines. Before and after my trip, I taught my students throughout the Shizuoka-ken seibu area about the Philippines through pictures, music, and discussions. In the Philippines I worked with a team of 15 other English teachers to help build houses in the Banai Housing Community. |
