| At first, the Japanese students were very shy and anxious about their visit to Australia. Before leaving Japan, I was able to prepare them for their trip abroad by helping to teach them English and culture classes. The students ranged in age from 5 to 17. After arriving in Australia, we were able to visit a high school and an elementary school. The students were each assigned a buddy with whom they would spend the week. |
