| At first the Japanese students seemed very shy around their buddies. It was SO AMAZING to watch the transition over the next few days. The Japanese and Australian students became good friends, laughing and playing games together, exchanging new words in their friend's new languauge, with almost every students crying and hugging when it was time to leave. We enjoyed an Australian BBQ, a bush dance, a sports day, a river cruise, and a trip to the zoo! It was amazing to watch the children blossom and make new friends. It was a great experience for all. |
