About the Project

The book is part of a two-part project for the course Seminars, developed by the University of Technology, Jamaica for its Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering students. The student is required to choose a topic from two broad technical areas, Current Topics in Computer Science or Current Topics in Electrical Engineering. The student is then expected to do a presentation to the class and lecturer with the use of appropriate visual aids.

The topic chosen for this presentation is Digital Camera Operation and Overview. The book discusses the basic operation of the digital camera, its functions, the advantages and disadvantages as well as recommendations. It is hoped that the reader will gain an appreciation for this technology by means of this book.
