Christopher Alan Larabee is 37. He was born in Farmington, NM, and had a relatively normal childhood. He grew up on a ranch, where he helped with the stock. He marginally passed high school, due to lack of motivation and interest more than anything. He was in some minor trouble, but never arrested. His father was a harsh disciplinarian and their relationship was strained, but has become more understanding since he's become an adult. His mother stayed at home and raised the family. He had a good relationship with her. He has two brother, with whom he maintains minimal contact.

Out of High School, Chris joined the army, where he served as an MP for most of his tour. When his four years were up, he came home and ran the rodeo circuit, and did odd jobs. He met Buck on the circuit, and when he was 23, and Sarah when he was 26. He married Sarah when he found out

that she was pregnant. Shortly after, he realized that he had a family to support and he and Buck entered the Police Academy. After they got their posts, they worked together on the Phoenix PD. Chris had a small ranch where he raised horses.

One day he and Buck went to Mexico to look at some stock, and when they came back, the house had been burned and Sarah and Adam were dead. Chris managed to stay in Phoenix for a while, but he was bitter and angry, and finally quit the force before he got fired. Eventually he heard of a small town that was unhappy with the slow response of the local sheriff's department, and scraped together money to hire a full-time cop. He got the job and bought a small spread near town. Chris had settled in well, and was starting to mellow out under the influence of the other men on the force. Then Ella Gains happened, and he's trying to drag himself out of the feelings that she awakened.
