Six Flags Great America is a perfect example of what every amusement park should be like. It has amazing coasters, a good mix between steel and wood, great theming, some fun flat rides, and has new rides being built every other year. First the coasters, which are some of the best in the country. They have an extremely diverse seleection, from an flying, to an inverted, to a stand-up, to a hyper, to some woodies, and a good combination of old and new. They build a new ride every two years, and make sure that it is on the cutting edge of technology, whether it be the newest type of coaster(Superman: Ultimate Flight), to a giant tower(Giant Drop). They are always updating and fixing their rides to make them run at their peak performance. The theming is also good. They have different sections to the park themed differently, from southwest to new orleans, and they also pile the theming on during Fright Fest, with body bags swinging in the trees, to making the pool at the gates blood red. Its always a blast to go to great america, and the rides never dissapoint. |
