About Me
Just some stuff about how I got into roller coasters and all that
I grew up always waiting for that one day out of the year that my family and I would go to Six Flags Great America. It was definitely the highlight of my summers, and once the day was over, I began the arduous wait until next year. We also frequented Disney World, and those trips were great, but alas, Disney is not known for their coasters. But those days have changed. I am older now, and my parents have become a little more adventurous. Starting at about age 13, we first went to Universal Studios, but more importantly, Islands of Adventure. IoA was the park that opened my eyes to the world of great roller coasters, and began my addiction. We have gone back twice since, only increasing my love of coasters. I got my first season pass to Six Flags last year, and already have it for this year, and can't wait for a summer filled with Superman, Batman, and a whole lot of Demon.
ScreenShot: The American Eagle (SFGAm)
The American Eagle is, in my opinion, the best wooden roller coaster ever built. Built by Intamin AG in 1981, it was a monster for its time, and still intimidates riders to this day. A racing coaster with both blue and red trains, its classic out and back design is one that keeps riders coming back time and again.
Around the Web
You can find me at many roller coaster websites and forums across the internet, always under the ID of "DemonRules". I usually spend most of my time on Theme Park Critic, but can also be found at SFGAMworld, and CoasterBuzz.
