Cedar Point is what every park should strive to be like. First off, the view. Cedar Point has by far the best scenery of any park I have ever been to, with the most pristine location in the country. Being built out on a near island on Lake Erie, you get an amazing no matter where you are in the park. But the location takes second place to the rides. Boasting 16 roller coasters, and almost twice as many more flat and water rides, the amount of attractions in the park simply blew me away. You can easily spend a weekend there and not even make it on every ride. But the parks main draw are its world class roller coasters. Nearly every one of them held some sort of record when they opened, and all are top of the line coasters. Top Thrill Dragster debuted this year as the worlds tallest and fastest roller coaster, Millenium Force is simply the greatest roller coaster ever built, and even rides like the Gemini, which celebrated its 25th anniversary while I was there, continue to thrill and entertain the riders, again and again. This is simply the greatest park I have ever been to, and should be at the top of everyones must-see list. Cedar Point is a must. |
