Deja Vu is finally open! Well...sorta. After a wait of over 9 months, the new train arrived on July 24th, and the ride was finally up and running again for the first time of the year on July 27th. Now that in itself is great news, except for the fact that it seems to have the same old problems. I was there on the 29th, and the ride didn't even open until a little after 1. It remained open for probably about 45 minutes before shutting down for about another 2-3 hours. It reopened, and we got one final ride right before 4. The ride, when open is incredible, but the fact of the matter is, this is one ride that may never be able to be free of technical and mechanical problems. Lets just hope the kinks get worked out once and for all.
