I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did. I actually went GOLFING for the first time in my life this last weekend. I had a blast! Of course, I had my moments being the juvenile I am comedically. When I inquired what this thing was on a pole at every other hole, I couldn't hide my snicker when I was told it was a "ball-washer". or when someone mentioned that they had hit two balls in the woods and I asked them if they just left the guy laying there, or did they help him out of the woods.
You know how they always are complaining about violent video games spawning violence as kids try to immitate their games? I think that is a crock. I mean, I have never shot at aliens coming down from the sky. (If that ever happened, I am hiding behind Mary, the Space Invaders champion) And how many times have you seen John running from ghosts while eating dots? Well, I guess there was this one time when we had to call a plumber over for a leaky drain and I put on a gorrilla suit and threw barrels down the stairs at him until he started chasing me with a hammer.... OH NO! Didn't Eddie play a lot of Frogger as a kid? Joyce, keep him out of the street! I do remember Eddie trying to get your attention just so you could watch him run head first into a tree to show how hard his head was. (That's a no-shitter)
One more funny story before I have to go: When my sister Jenny was little, me and Angie used to give her a stick and run away from her telling her to hit us with it. We would then climb trees and such, staying just out of her reach while laughing at her. She was real young, so it was easy to keep away from her. Well, one day I was working on the lawn mower in the back yard. Jenny was about five at the time. I was tooling away when all of a sudden WHAM! I was hit in the back of the head with a big tree branch about 3 inches thick! I was like, "What the....?" and turned to see Jenny holding the stick I had given her to chase me with 3 days before. She was saying "I got you." and was too young to realize that I was seeing stars and we weren't playing that game at that point in time. I was SO mad, I wonder if she knows that mom saved her life that day....
