Creating a Stink!

Well, folks (or folk if there is only one person who reads this) how are ya today? I got an email today supposedly from my credit card company saying that they had lost all my info and needed me to use the link they provided to re-enter my info. These guys are phishing for some really stupid people. They didn't spell words correctly, they didn't use correct sentences and the link is somewhere in the United Kingdom! If anyone is stupid enough to click on that link and enter all their account information, then maybe they don't need to be having their own credit card, to begin with.

I remember one time in Eureka, MO, where some guys came by the bank after closing and set up a cardboard sign that said that the deposit box was broken and businesses should leave their deposits in the CARDBOARD box they had set up outside the bank. They came back before the bank opened and took their box with them complete with SEVEN deposits from local businesses! The fellows were never caught (to my knowledge) but I bet some assistant restaurant managers were looking for employment the next day.

So, how about all those election commercials? Actually, they should be called non-election commercials. Most I've seen talk about "These are the reasons you shouldn't vote for so-and-so" instead of "these ARE the reasons to vote for me". So if neither side wants us to vote for their opponent because of the baaaad things they've done, then collectively, they don't want us to vote at all. Well, I say screw 'em and get out and vote anyway! People have fought and died for our right to vote and I won't have any stuffed shirt tell me who I should and shouldn't vote for. So, if you are old enough, be sure to vote. (Even if you write-in me) See ya next time! --Bobbert
