Well, I still didn't get out of bed until after 9:00, but I felt more refreshed.  It may have been because the sun was out.  Now it's gone behind the clouds, and I'm feeling sleepy again.  Aaron is still not feeling well and slept through all the sun.  We didn't go for our walk.

I threw the scraps out to the crows, then Dad and I went out to get a few groceries.  It's an adventure to pick up a few groceries here.  We never get it all done at one store.  Our first stop was at Powell's where we bought 4 loaves of bread, still hot from the oven.  Their delicious aroma tortured us for the rest of the trip.  Then we headed over to Dominion, which is in the mall, for margarine, milk, and a few other things.  We went to WalMart for the toothpaste and WD40, but the lines were so long, we decided to put the things back and leave.  The place was seriously jammed.  We drove across the street to Shopper's Drug Mart for the toothpaste.  All told, we were probably gone at least an hour, went to four stores, and returned with bread, margarine (the wrong kind), milk, OJ, toothpaste and spaghetti sauce.

Lynn and Larry were already here when we got back, so I set the table for lunch.  They are still here, and I should be downstairs visiting, but I feel like I am going to fall asleep at any moment.

Today I've tried to be good, as far as food goes.  I had only coffee in the morning, then a transgression (or 3) for short bread cookies and "mice" (chocolate covered peanut butter delicious stuff).  For lunch, a peanut butter sandwich (on that fresh bread... mmmmmm...) and a banana with only one marshmallow cookie thing for dessert. I was still 6 pounds ahead of the game this morning, before any of it!  Argh!
