It's the calm in between the storms here now.  We opened gifts upon waking, and I enjoyed watching Dad Noel with his.  He felt each one up first and made an assessment.  "'At one mus' be socks, Oi'd say,"  or "Dis has to be somet'ing wat hangs, but I don' know wat she be."

When gifts were all open, and the living room properly trashed, we squished ourselves into the little Toyota and drove over to Danny and Lorna's.  The children, now more used to me, pulled me to the floor to show me their new toys.  I had the most fun with Hannah's new Barbie Pet Shop, while Steve entertained himself with the new karaoke machine.  We had a tremendous feed, during which Danny was too distracted to give me too much grief over not eating meat.  Actually, I really wanted a taste of the moose sausage, but I was afraid my system wouldn't be able to handle it.

More gifts exchanged, and hugs from the kids, and one little spiked egg nog, and we went on our way.

Aside from the green grass everywhere and the fact that I could walk outside in short sleeves, it felt rather like Christmas!

Future super-star, Natasha
There were party favors for everyone!
Using her new Wizard Powers, Hannah turned me into The Keeper of the Pet Shop.  (Cool!)  Meanwhile, Michael seemed a little baffled by his Bob the Builder Bath Set.
