My cousin Valerie and her husband Paul are here now.  They got in today.  They're in visiting with Dad Noel at the moment, so I'm hiding away upstairs.  It's raining now, and has been for a couple of hours.  Aaron said he heard the weather and that it's supposed to turn to snow next week.  This being Newfoundland, though, it's hard to say what will
really happen.

I feel like I've been vacuum-packed into my jeans.  It does not bode well for the outfits I brought to wear to The Big Party and New Year's Eve!  According to Dad Noel's scale, I check it at 134 pounds today, compared to 127 a few days ago.  I don't see how I could have gained
7 pounds since Sunday, but, if it could happen, it would happen here!

'Tis the season, I guess.

So no one seems to know much about The Big Party tomorrow.  What to bring, how to dress, what time it starts even.  It'll be interesting to see how it goes.  It'll be fine.  Everything here always seems to fly by the seat of the pants.  It's custom.

Today, I'm finally able to enjoy the relaxation time I have.  I read a good chunk of a book today and took some time to sit around and do nothing, or to think a little.  Aaron said he wants to go out on a scenery run tomorrow, so that will be good.  I definitely
need to go for a walk!

I visited with everyone.  We talked about robberies, air travel, and the lottery.  I am wearing my new very cool Cat in the Hat pajamas.  Sleeeeeep... yummmmmm.

I'm keeping the window shade up tonight, with the sincere hope that I will wake up feeling refreshed at a decent hour tomorrow.
