| Friday December 26, 2003 -- 2:00pm It's Boxing Day, and everything is closed. I think everyone is recovering from the madness of Christmas Day. As for me, I'm trying not to eat - limiting myself to very delicious things only. It's grey, and Aaron isn't feeling well, so plans to walk up to Flat Rock have been postponed. The party last night was so much fun! We got everything set up just right, and then the masses arrived. There were 20 of us altogether, and I think Dad Noel was very pleased. It really felt exciting and special in a way that Christmas hasn't been in years. |

| Today is low key. A slow morning. The weather calls for staying indoors and for moving slowly. I went over to the Dwyers' to bring them leftovers and to upload some of the pictures from my camera. On the way home, an ambulance passed me and went to a house near ours. I got to bring that bit of juicy news in with me, and now the talk is of Fred Turnbull and how good it is that he made it through Christmas. I'm going downstairs now, to do some dishes. |
