| Sunday December 28, 2003 -- 3:30pm Watching football! Last week of the regular season. Great-Uncle Les came by with Great-Aunt Thelma and Sandra, and Lillian. (Lillian is Uncle Les' "girlfriend" and Sandra is his daughter.) They didn't stay very long, but it was nice to see Sandra. I wish we'd had a chance to talk more. It turns out she is in the same vaguely undefinable line of work as I am. Aaron didn't get to see her. In fact, we haven't seen him since he got up this morning! He has buddied up with Stacey and her husband, Sean, and is off with them somewhere. It's funny, because Stacey was his buddy years ago, when they were just little kids. I asked Aaron if he had a good time last night. We all assumed he didn't, of course, but he said yes! He said it was kind of cool, having all that family around. We're not used to it, as he pointed out. I'm glad he's appreciating it all more than we think, and he's having a better time. |
