The majority of the things I make are knives. I heart sharp things. Except when they cut me. Even then though, I can never stay mad at them.
IP
Trimming shears from the salvation army reborn...
F
These knives I had intended to get finished for a christmas gift, but ended up taking awhile longer than expected. They were rusty and nasty, so I refinished them and put new handles on.
F
It started as a file that was to dull to use anymore, so I decided to give it a bit of a career change.

F
Some knives that I put new handles on for chistmas for my siblings.
IP
Really, who doesn't wear a horned helmet to chop onions? And yes, everyone needs copper wire wrapping on kitchen knives. It just makes sense.
I also heart wood. I wish I had more tools. Then I could make even more things out of wood.
IP
The bow. Now stained and almost useful.
F
Some small carvings of easter island heads. I heart easter island heads. MOAI MOAI MOAI.
F
A bed frame/futon support I made for myself.
This is the thing I inted to use to actually melt the aluminum for the hood ornament that is the ultimate goal.
IP
I finally cast something! Not perfect, but better than expected.
IP
The torch, which of course provides the heat to melt the aluminum. This is how it was made and put together.
IP
A bunch of pretty pictures that I took of the torch at night. (no cameras were harmed in the making of this web page)
IP
The furnace itself. Details on the construction and pictures of the first successful (sort of) melt.
Well, I have finally done some things that don't fit into the other categories. I learned to chrochet (thanks mom), and made a balloon pump.

IP
Copying a little wooden head in wax. The adventures continue.
F
I made myself a hat.
F
Inflating balloons has never been so... Well, to be honest, I've never cared about inflating balloons until this.
IP
I had always wondered how mom made those little pouches out of string. I think she nearly fell out of her chair when I asked her to show me.
