Venus Cliffs Coastal Defence Guns
|
|
Mounted on these cliffs are coastal defence guns looted from other areas of the Planet. They command a view of the coast line and can deliver fire on both Omega and Jupiter Beaches. Though they have come under heavy fire from Imperial Thunder Hawk and attack craft, they have not been destroyed. For this reason a ground based assault has bee ordered. Attackers Brief - you are to assault the gun emplacements and silence them as quickly as possible. You must land on the beach, scale the cliff face, remove the defenders and silence these guns. Defenders Brief - these guns are a vital element of the coastal defence network and must be protected against all attackers. Each turn they remain active is another barraige they can fire on the invaders on the beaches |

Dead Ground due to the height of the cliff there
is a an area of dead ground when firing down on to the beach. The distance
of deadground is equal to the distance you are from the edge
i.e. if you are 4 inches from the edge of the cliff then there is a 4 inches
area of dead ground from the base of the cliff.
Cliff - The cliff is impassable to all troops who are not equipped with ladders or climbing gear. If equipped with these the cliff counts as difficult terrain.
