Theme Curriculum
We will be taking a break from our normal structured scheduled theme curriculum activities. With caring for a mixed age group, I feel I am on �overload� and I want to be able to spend more time with the children playing and using their imaginations. I will be working around the children�s spontaneous actions and looking for those �teachable moments.� This change will be to meet everyone�s needs�.same quality, just no �classroom�. I will be using the approach of the Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care Providers and will be sharing with you information about this curriculum over the next several months.
Health Policies
Wow! We have had a little bit of everything pass through here the past few weeks. I want to get this under control and take on additional precautions in keeping everyone healthy. I have purchased some germ X hand sanitizer that the children will begin using regularly. This product is suppose to be effective at eliminating 99.9% of germs and bacteria in as little as 15 seconds. Also, lets all work together with our children on proper hand washing. A hand washing song is attached.
