Did you think I bailed?
Nah, just bad timing. I'm ba-ack!
Let's see, where do I begin?
Oh yes, book 2. Book 2 is beginning to wind
down, and things seem to be
playing in favor of our players. For Frank, I'm hoping he will
succeed in getting rid of that woman in his life: Nellie! Not even
Courtney could make Karen go away! Just point and click, pouf!
No Karen. Maybe Courtney should have been given an inside scoop!
Will Frank make it home in time to make sure Karen will be there for him?
Not likely. Why? To me it's simple: This book "Time
in a bottle" is not just a "new" novel, it's an expansion of the first
book, "Fate". Seeing the stories as they unfold, I am convinced
that FATE is playing a part in this book, like any sequel would.
FATE this time isn't exactly the same,
but more. What does
this mean for Book 3? Well it will do with FATE, but will focus
more on something like faith and perhaps keeping it?
As for Chris and Eve, their fate
isn't sealed... well as long as I am able to write. Thanks
to FATE, Chris now finds Eve back into his life, and this
time not Scott, not Kevin, and
if Chris plays his cards right, not even Ian will thwart his attempt to
get the woman he wants: Eve. Of course, Eve, is blinded by
what should be, but both chiefs have told her basically to avoid Ian, that
it's not going to work. It's how this story began, it's how it will
end! Ariana's looming demise would certainly spell complications
for Eve and Ian, Eve couldn't go through with a life with Ian knowing that
they brought about Ariana's demise (that's if it should happen).
What should Eve do?
That answer is simple: go
for Chris. If Book 3 does follow the lines I think it might, Eve
should go with the unexpected. It would certainly open
up possibilities we have only
dreamed about. Eve may not like it, but FATE
will make certain that Dr. Lambert
doesn't get her cake and eat it too and
the ring thing will give Eve
the strength to make the most difficult of choices, based on faith, but
it will make one man happy beyond belief!
As for the kids... get over it
already.
Emmy recap:
Younger actor & actress were
surprises--- how could B&B pull that off?;
Supporting Actress was right
on (I did give Molly a good chance);
Supporting Actor was right on.
Without a doubt (Odds favorite to biz fav);
Best Actor was correct, but
also tough;
Best Actress was no contest,
since Adam's ex-wives split the vote;
Best Writing was no contest
either, but GH's absence was felt;
Best Directing would have worked,
only if GH won best writing;
Best Show was no surprise, but
it'll be 10 years before it happens again.
GH's lack of showing was noticeable
from its very thin participation in the
other categories. And
the reason for that is clear: too much transition.
ATWT was only able to pull it
off thanks to a smooth transition early in the year, and wouldn't be able
to do it without the handmedowns from Another World.
Remember this is a view from
a watcher's point of view, namely mine.
