Miss-- It's Not A Wonderful Life
Why give a charactor connections if you aren't going to do anything with those coneections? Kevin and Livvie are father and daughter yet we don't see her confiding in him or asking for help from him. Nor do we see him seeking her out or trying to be there. Yes I realize they have just found each other but you'd think knowing Kevin he'd be a little more present. Yes in past weeks he may have been a time or two but seems like now she is on her own once more. Wouldn't you think Livvie would turn to Kevin right now with everything going on? Or Kevin might check in on his little girl. Though this is the same complaint many of us Karen fans have had for years with Karen and Scott. A connection is made and nothing happens. We get little scenes here and there but nothing big. Why have connections at all if this is how it works.
HIT--Just plain great is the only thing I can say about Frank this past week. I have been simply loving watching him in this story. His pain and fear as well as guilt over the loss of Karen is so evident with out him even speaking. But the thing that touched me most of all was how he made things better for Rhonda this week with out changing history. Carolyn didn't die alone now, she died in a wonderful man's arms and died knowing about her niece and how wonderful she'd be. Rhonda was told directly it wasn't her fault and comforted when her Dad blamed her. Frank's actions will lessen Rhonda's pain in the present day. Rhonda knows it's not her fault and that her sister didn't die alone. I also enjoyed watching Frank with his Mom you could see how much he wanted to tell her but he knew he couldn't. Hats off to Jay this week, he was one far out dude.
Till next week enjoy PC
Katie :-)
