Al Bhed Primer Locations
In order to do some of the side quests in the game and to fully appreciate the storyline you need to unlock the secrets of the Al Bhed�s language, so here are the locations of all the books and their translations Al Bhed=English.
1: Al Bhed salvage ship on the bottom right of the area, Y=A
2: Besaid Village inside the inn front of the counter, P=B
3: Ship to Kilika inside power room very bottom of screen, L=C
4: Kilika in the bar near counter, T=D
5: Ship to Luca inside the bridge, A=E
6: Luca stadium basement b, V=F
7: Luca theater in front of counter, K=G
8: Mi�ihen Highroad Rin�s travel agency receive as a gift from Rin, R=H
9: Mi�ihen Highroad new road north just after the bridges, E=I
10: Rock road, small path to the left near the lift to the cliff area, Z=J
11: Djose highroad, behind a stone pillar approx halfway down the road that overlooks the sea,
G=K
12: Moonflow Shoopuf station the one after the boss battle near to the actual Shoopuf, M=L
13: Guadosalam, One of the houses on the left area, S=M
14: Thunder Plains, inside the travel agency say to Rin that its going well, H=N
15: Macalania Woods, between Oaka and the path Auron makes head back and keep to your right there is a hidden path, when Tidus goes behind the tree in the same area press X, U=O
16: Macalania Lake, outside the travel agency, B=P
17: Desert, Central area to the right of the strong fiend sign, X=Q
18: Desert central area inside the old ruins, N=R
19: Al Bhed Home outside near the first save point, C=S
20: Al Bhed Home do 21 first- then head back to the Rikku attack cut scene and go through the door with the blue lights lit up on your left and search, D=T
21: Al Bhed Home after the Rikku gets attacked cut scene go to the next area then head right, I=U
22: Bevelle Temple, the path before the door that takes you into the trial, J=V
23: Calm Lands, just south of the far north east corner, F=W
24: Remiem Temple, the outside area, the semi circle that goes around it, between the Chocobos, Q=X
25: Sunken Cave area, the valley where Defender boss came from, O=Y
26: Omega Ruins, to the north east of the area where there are 4 chests, W=Z
� Al Bhed Primers 1, 3, and 14 are a one shot chance, or so you would think. If you have missed them you can get them again at the desert Oasis.� Al Bhed Primers 19-22, however, are a different story. Sometimes they will reappear in front of Macalania Temple but if they don�t, find a compilation sphere, use it, then save. Then start a new game but don�t save over your primary save. Instead, get to the missing volumes, collect them, and then find a compilation sphere and use it, then save the game and reload your original save. Find a compilation sphere and you should now have the missing Primers. Once you have all the Primers, go speak to Rin on the Airship and he will give you 99x Underdogs Secret. And if you wanted to start a new game with all the Primers the language that the Al Bhed use in the early cut scenes is now understandable.
