A mysterious, psycho guy with a big sword... a main character with an identity crisis... and a young girl, the last of her kind, who holds the key to the fate of the planet... these are only a few of the things you'll encounter in Final Fantasy 7.

Final Fantasy 7 is regarded by many to be the best Final Fantasy ever made (though not the best RPG ever made, that spot belongs to Chrono Trigger). The story is one that is woven beautifully around the 3 major characters of the story: Cloud, Aeris, and Sephiroth. The other characters in the game all come together to make the plot full, but this is really just those 3's story. This game is also owner of another distinction: it is also regarded by many to hold the greatest VILLAIN of all time, Sephiroth.

Really, the only way this game suffers is if you don't like the battle system. Many hate it because it makes the game so easy, and it betrays the classic system that has made Final Fantasy so famous. But battle system aside, it is an awesome game, and a definite must-buy for any true RPGer, or a newbie into the world of RPGs.
