Didn't get my evaluation this work week before getting my days off.  Apparently, my GM forgot that he had a seminar this week for two days.  So, I need to wait for my next work week to get it.  Basically, the day I come back to work.  As for business, it's apparently not to good in a business standpoint.  Because of the strong Canadian dollar against the US dollar & the newly built cruise ship port in Seattle, hotels are losing a chuck of their business from this area.  We are still business, but not as good as last year's for sure.

In anime news, some more licenses over the weekend. from Otakon 2007  So fairly big & good ones.  ADV Films picked up Jing, King of Bandits: Seventh Heaven, Moonlight Mile, & Venus Versus Virus.  Funimation took BALDR FORCE EXE Resolution, Sasami: Mahou Shoujo Club, & Ouran High School Host Club.  Bandai got Toward the Terra..., My Otome Zwei, Ayakashi Ayashi, & Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.  Speaking of Code Geass, the final two episodes will be airing soon.  Bandai picked a great time to get the license here as we are still left on that cliffhanger.  Plus, it would be interesting to see if those Pizza Hut ads will remain intact as Pizza Hut in the US didn't do any advertising for the show.  Only Japan did.  Anyways, I've updated some reviews to reflect the licensing.

Updates this week include minor stuff.  Basically, anime reviews & collectable reviews again.  Put up new & brief reviews of Hayate no Gotoku!, Moetan, & Masuda Kosuke Gekijo - Gyagu Manga Biyori. 2.  Also updated Masuda Kosuke Gekijo - Gyagu Manga Biyori since I got more information on it.  As for complete review, I got Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori.  For the collectables side, updated Mon-Sieur BOME Collection Vol. 8 Xenosega KOS-MOS in the Mon-Sieur BOME Collection Series & Xenosaga sections since I've sold her.  Got K&M Chobits Gashapon Series 1 (Crystal Version) in the Chobits section & Good Smile Company Nendo-Roid Series #9 Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Figurine in the newly opened Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya section.

Since I'm playing Pia Carrot!! 3 again, they may be some changes in some of the pages.  Reason for it is recalled memories & using a different translation program.  The program I'm using, AGTH combined with ATLAS V11, has a better translation job than Oh! Text Hooker did.  Things make a bit more sense.  So, expect some changes here & there in that section or possibly a re-work which is highly likely.  In case you are wondering, I'm still working on the Pia Carrot!! G.O. & Crescendo sections.  I actually have Pia Carrot!! G.O. 95% done, just need to find some background pics for it & make the game review.  I actually got that done first before Crescendo which was suppose to be the next special section.  Plus, I'm thinking of giving this site a makeover on some areas.  Practically, practicing & moving up my website building skills which has been lagging a lot.  But, don't expect anything impressive.  Plus, it may be a long time for that to happen since I'm still very busy with life.

Whoa!  Last time I reported here, the PS3 was price dropped to CDN$599.  Now it's CDN$549!  What a deal!  However, no games that interest me now.  Will continue to wait or make a pass.

Recently, I've been updating the PSP News, Hacks, & Secrets section.  I've been out of the loop for a long time & haven't really bother to update it.  The section now contains major news that I heard of, not the petty ones.  Hopefully, it's up to date right now.

Work at the hotel has now gone to a new level: havoc.  The evening shift front desk staff have some problems with our system & how hotels work.  Personally, I blame this on the lack of training they were given.  The time they were given training wasn't enough.  Our GM was hurrying our new staff members to get ready for the high season.  The time the new staff came in it was already at the start of that season.  I was forced to go back & make that front desk exercise that I have left untouched on my computer.  It was actually finished & proofread.  Just needed to do some formatting in terms of making the printouts come out. properly & nicely.  But, it came out pretty good actually.  Either that or I got lazy in editing it again.  I didn't think I would give it to some of the current staff members, but I didn't have much of a choice if I don't want to drive down to the hotel just to fix up mistakes.  Don't want to add more stress to myself as it is.  Plus, my GM has told me that next week he'll have a meeting with me for about 30 minutes to discuss my role in the hotel.  It includes more responsibilities in terms of getting more involved in managerial stuff, changes to my wage rate (chance of going down which is not very likely), & my strengths & weaknesses.  I'll like to see how this will work out since I'm still doing front desk work.  If I should get more involved in managerial work & keep the same thing in the front desk, there's no way for me to get more workload like that; especially during this season.

Yesterday, I picked up the Metamo Haruhi Suzumiya figuine by Bandai from my local Japanese store.  Didn't want it that much, but I ended up getting it in the end.  Technically, just want to see how the colour changing works.  Plus, it isn't that small as I thought when I saw it on display from a different hobby store.  Will put up pics of it when I have time.

In anime news, some more licenses.  Manga Entertainment got Strait Jacket, Media Blasters go Okane ga Nai, & Cartoon Network got Megaman Star Force (aka Ryuusei no Rockman).  Not very exciting, but it deserves some notice.  In Japan, a lot of new anime series are showing.  Some nices one here & there.

Updates?  I was planning to put reviews of my new stuff, but Imageshack is giving me problems in updating my pics to them.  They don't want to upload for some reason.  Then, I found out it had to be my connection when my sister told me that she had troubles uploading as well on some sites.  Figured out that it was the router that need to be reset.  Bleh!  So, settle off with some old stuff for the time being.

Whew!  Money blowing time again!  From this month until possibly to my birthday in September, I'll being blowing my cash like crazy on PSP games, music CDs, & some PVCs on the side.  Technically, I should be blowing my cash on a vacation instead.  Too much work at the hotel has given me a lot of stress.  Co-workers have been telling me to take some time off since I've been working too hard.  They suggest two weeks to a month.  I've been actually thinking of getting a vacation, but I have no idea where to go.  I was thinking of Toronto, but it makes no difference since it's almost the same environment as where I'm living but a bit worse I heard.  Hong Kong I don't want to go since it's would be hot & nothing much for me to see there.  It would be visiting family members, but my dad has severe some ties with my mother's side in terms of my maternal aunt & uncle.  Plus, he kind of broke ties with some of his siblings as well.  Japan is out of the question as well.  Like Hong Kong without the family part, it's hot.  Although anime stuff would interest me there, I don't speak Japanese.  Although I can speak a bitnow, thanks to anime & Japanese music, it's not going to help me get far in terms of basic conversations alone.  The US was one option, but the security there is more stricter than other parts of the world I think.  Besides, my passport has expired & getting one is now a pain in the ass.  So, my only option at this time is to stay within Canada.  US would only be by car, but I don't know the roads there & the speed limits are much faster than I'm use to.  Lately, my driving hasn't been very good due to some strange poor judgment I've been making.  I can't seem to judge distance properly.  If something is very far off or has plenty of room, I see it being very tight for some reason.  I do have uneasiness for tightness & I'm assuming this is playing a role in my driving.

Got stuff this week!  My preorders arrived containing mainly anime DVDs & anime/Japanese music CDs.  I got my Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya vol.1 DVD limited edition.  I thought it was a collector's box, but it isn't.  That box is designed like some jewelry box with a drawer on one end of it.  It's got a cosplay item of Haruhi's ribbon.  But you won't catch me dead wearing it.  Looks tight too.  That box has no way of collecting any of the future volumes I would hate to see how the boxes on the future limited editions will be like.  That box can almost hold a whole series if it was empty.  Speaking of Haruhi, I got my Nendoroid figurine of her.  I was very tempted to take her out right away, but I should take a picture of her in the box first for review purposes.  The suspense is killing me.  I also got my Rozen Maiden Träumend Suiginto Sword Pendant.  It's not very impressive than I initially thought.  I'll take pictures of it too before wearing it to prevent any casual day wear on the item.

If you don't know, PS3s here in Canada did have a price.  After that strange price increase to CDN$699, the price went back to normal at CDN$659.  Now, it's CDN$599; almost the price of a 20GB when it was first released.  Nice price now, but I'm gonna hold from buying it still.  Main reason is still the games.  There's no game currently released that's appealing to me.  Those ones are coming next year or two maybe.  There are a lot of PS2 games I want to play, but I'm not buying the system just for that.

I figure I should put some updates since this month would be a busy one for me.  I may have free time here & there, but I'll probably use it for self pleasure such as online shopping or playing with my PSP (too many games left untouched).  Mainly complete anime reviews of Asatte no Houkou, Shuffle! Memories, & Today in Class 5-2 .  Plus, I updated some of the PSP games cover pics since I got some of my games back after leading them to a friend at work.

Next time, I'll see if I can squeeze some more updates here again.

Man, that is really a lot over one weekend!  As usual, I updated my reviews to reflect these license changes.

Because of product delays in manufacturing, out of stock, or waiting for all items to arrive in one order, I'll be getting a lot of stuff in the mail next week.  Time to clean out my room again!  Basically anime DVDs, music CDs, a jewelry, & a PVC figurine.  Next month may have more shipments, but probably not as bad as this months.  Plus, I'm aiming to get two PSP games that are scheduled to be released in the middle of this month.  Good bye, money!  The Final Fantasy remakes are also appealling in graphics & price, but I've been hold out on them for a long time now.

As for updates, I put up only one complete anime review of Keitai Shoujo.  Been too busy as of late with work as my GM is blowing a fuse for some reason.  By the way, Happy 4th of July to you US readers.
