Troop 256
Policy and Procedures Manual

Purpose

This manual presents the general policies, procedures, and rules used while administering activities in BSA Troop 256. While following BSA policies and procedures, adult leaders and Scouts have developed additional local policies and rules using the experience that has shown these to be the most applicable and useful for Troop 256.

Local rules and procedures may change from time to time as adult leadership and situations change. The Troop Committee may approve and publish changes to this manual at any time, and distribute the changes to Bannockburn Baptist Church, adult leaders, Troop 256 Scouts, and parents of Troop 256 Scouts.

Our sponsoring organization, Bannockburn Baptist Church, has reviewed this manual and found it to be consistent with its concepts of sponsoring a Boy Scout troop.
