Plot -
After infiltrating Genosha, X-Force and Pete Wisdom have taken a CPU from within a Genoshan complex. Now, the team is attacked by the Genoshan security and caught in the midsts of a bloody civil war. The team manages to break free, while Pete Wisdom reveals the true nature of the CPU. Truly a cybernetic brain, the CPU was the brain of a scientist and Wisdom's friend Archie Fogg, who died when his consiousness was sifted into the computer. However, the CPU was sent through space and mysterious reappeared, falling from the sky and crashing into Genoshan waters. Wisdom used the memory boxes to lure X-Force to Genosha to help him free his friend. However, their escape route is cut off by Genosha's ruler, Magneto himself. Also, to make matters worse, most of the team has history with Magneto, because once, he was the headmaster of the New Mutants, the team that came before X-Force. Meanwhile, in the Genoshan power plant, Domino and Jesse make their to the generator. Jesse gets used to using the martial arts skills he got from a memory box from Delphi. But when Jesse tries to take some pills, Domino stops him, believing the pills to be drugs. Jesse comes clean: the drugs prevent his powers from driving him insane. Back on the battlefield, X-Force confronts their former teacher, but the master of magnetism wants nothing to do with them. He lashes out, while Warpath makes an escape with Archie's brain. To save Wisdom's life, Moonstar pours her quantum energy into Magneto's EM field, disrupting it and pausing the tyrant for a moment, However, the power overwhelms her, and Magneto turns the power back on her. Knowing their losing, Cannonball signals Domino and Jesse to go to Plan B: disrupt the entire island's power, shutting it down. Magneto is pulled away from the confrontation, when his Acolytes tell him that the magistrates are trying to overthrow their defenses. In the sewers below, Warpath tries to make his escape, but he is stopped by Quicksilver. However, Quicksilver listens long enough to understand why Magneto can't be allowed to have Archie's brain. With help from Quicksilver, the team makes their escape, this time using the island's technology to give Archie a new body. Pete Wisdom then completes his part of the bargain, giving Cannonball another memory box, this one proving whose memory it is: that of his uncle Luke, who may have helped Cannonball's father commit murder!
