Plot -
X-Force arrives in Genosha, just under the cover of Magistrate gunfire. The group came to
the war-ridden island because Cannonball received a mysterious package from someone on the
island. They fight through the gun-powered humans, only to find their contact: the former
spy and Excalibur member, Pete Wisdom. Wisdom takes the group to a little shop. However,
something about the store is definitely strange. Meltdow opens a small box, and her mind
is flooded with a powerful memory a pre-World War II woman in Genosha. The memory is so
perfect, it makes the hard-strung Meltdown cry. Cannonball then pulls out the package he
received from Genosha, a memory box of his own, one that includes an image of himself as a
child. Pete Wisdom tries to explain the power of the boxes, when the store's owner and
operator, Delphi, appears. Delphi makes X-Force an offer: give her a memory, and she will
give each of them another memory to help them on their quest to help Wisdom. Meanwhile, in
Brazil, Sunspot sits restlessly by a pool, when he sees a woman being manhandled. But when
he tries to help her, the men turn into monsters, and the woman turns out to be Selene,
the External witch. Selene stops her attackers, and tells Sunspot the reason she came to
Brazil: to find him! Back in Genosha, in the capitol, Jenny Ransome and Quicksilver talk
over what to do about X-Force being in their country. Quicksilver runs off to stop X-Force
from entering the complex. X-Force and Wisdom set out to recapture Wisdom's prize, a CPU.
However, Quicksilver confronts the group. Cannonball throws his memory box at Quicksilver,
who instantly taken into the memory. Momentarily blinded, Quicksilver is rammed into by
Cannonball. The group continues on, finding the CPU within the Genoshan complex. However,
on their way out, they look to the sky, only to see Magneto himself on the way! |
