SERIES TIME PERIOD TIME SPAN / EVENTS
The Original Series

( TOS )

A Events occurring prior to the original series TV episodes, including: 
The early missions of the Enterprise under Captains Robert April and Christopher Pike;  The troubled childhoods of Kirk and Spock;  Kirk and Spock's early adventures on the Enterprise.
B Kirk's original 5-year mission and beyond, up to his appointment as admiral and the three-year refit of the Enterprise. The Chronology for this time period is 10 pages long, with titles arranged in alphabetical order.
C The years Admiral Kirk is based on Earth during the Enterprise refit.
D The first four movies: 
Kirk commands the Enterprise as an admiral; Spock dies saving the Enterprise from the deranged Khan; Spock's friends mutiny against Starfleet and destroy the Enterprise in an attempt to retrieve his body; Kirk and his officers time travel to 1984 San Francisco to save Earth from a destructive probe.
E Events between movies "The Voyage Home" and "The Final Frontier".
F Star Trek V through Kirk's death on the Enterprise-B and its effect on his former crew.
G The continuing adventures of Kirk and his original crew in Picard's time, including: 
The ancient McCoy "christens" the first voyage of the Enterprise-D;  Spock leads an underground peace movement on the Romulan homeworld;  Scotty is rescued from suspension in a transporter buffer;  Kirk is rescued from the Nexus, only to die again;  Kirk is resurrected by the Borg and programmed to kill Picard.

Next Generation

( TNG )

A Events preceding the launching of the Enterprise-D, including:  
The death of Beverly Crusher's husband under Picard's command on the Stargazer;  The rescue of young Tasha Yar from a brutal colony world;  The first meeting and romance of Will Riker and Deanna Troi.
B Year One: 
Picard and crew set out on the Enterprise-D, and are continually plagued by the capricious and powerful Q.
C Year Two: 
Tasha Yar has died;  Dr. Pulaski joins the ship;  Q introduces the Federation to the Borg.
D Year Three: 
Dr. Crusher's return through Picard's assimilation by the Borg.
E Year Four: 
Wesley leaves for Starfleet Academy;  Yar's Romulan daughter incites a Klingon civil war.
F Year Five: 
Picard meets Spock in the Romulan Empire;  Bajoran Ro Laren joins the crew;  Picard gives a young Borg self-awareness.
G Year Six: 
Montgomery Scott is rescued from transporter suspension;  Riker meets his double, created years earlier in a transporter accident;  Chief O'Brien transfers to Deep Space Nine.
H Year Seven: 
Data is subverted by Lore and the Borg;  Ro Laren defects to the Maquis;  Last TV episode "All Good Things..."
I Year Eight: 
Events between "All Good Things..." and Star Trek Generations.
J Star Trek Generations up to Star Trek: First Contact
K Star Trek: First Contact up to Star Trek: Insurrection

Deep Space Nine

( DS9 )

A Events preceding the Federation takeover of Deep Space Nine, including: 
The decades long war waged by Bajoran freedom fighters against the Cardassian forces occupying their planet;  The death of Cmdr. Benjamin Sisko's wife during the Borg attack at Wolf 359.
B Year One: 
The Federation takes control of Deep Space Nine from the Cardassians. (Occurs in Year Six of TNG);  Kai Opaka dies.
C Year Two: 
The Circle stages a coup on Bajor;  Bashir and Kira enter the violent parallel universe of the Alliance;  Sisko meets the Jem'Hadar of the mysterious Dominion.
D Year Three: 
DS9 gets a warship to fight the Dominion;  Dax learns she had a murderous host;  The Dominion destroys the Cardassian / Romulan fleet and infiltrates the Federation.
E Year Four: 
Worf is transferred to DS9;  The Klingons break their Federation alliance;  Quark lands in Roswell, N.M.;  Lwaxana Troi marries Odo;  Bashir tries to cure Dominion germ warfare;  The Dominion makes Odo human.
F Year Five: 
Odo exposes a Klingon general as a shapeshifter;  Kira gives birth to Keiko's baby;  Cardassia allies with the Dominion;  Bashir's DNA resequencing is discovered;  The Dominion declares war on the Federation.
G Year Six: 
The war with the Dominion strains Federation resources;  Starfleet liberates DS9 from the Dominion;  Worf and Jadzia marry;  Bashir predicts the Federation will lose the war;  Bashir is recruited by a covert agency;  Sisko uses deceitful means to obtain Romulan support;  Odo finally declares his love for Kira;  Jadzia is murdered by Gul Dukat.
H Year Seven: 
The war with the Dominion continues;  Worf struggles to come to terms with Jadzia's death;  Dax's new host, Ezri, joins the station;  Nog loses a leg in battle;  Dukat becomes leader of a Bajoran death cult;  Bashir learns Section 31 infected the changelings with a deadly disease;  The Breen join forces with the Dominion;  Sisko marries Kasidy;  Bashir and Ezri fall in love;  The Federation finally wins the war;  Sisko joins the Prophets after defeating Dukat and the Pah-wraiths.
 
 
SERIES TIME PERIOD TIME SPAN / EVENTS
Voyager

( VOY )

A Events preceding Voyager's displacement to the Delta Quadrant, including:  
Young Tuvok's first mission under Captain Sulu on the Excelsior;  The deaths of Kathryn Janeway's father and fiancee in a tragic accident;  The guerilla war of the Maquis against Cardassia and the Federation;  The fall of Tom Paris, from Starfleet prodigy to New Zealand prison inmate. 
B Year One: 
After being hijacked to the Delta Quadrant, the crews of Voyager and a Maquis raider join forces and begin the long journey home (Occurs in Year 3 of DS9).
C Year Two: 
Voyager discovers Amelia Earheart;  Paris and Neelix fight over Kes;  Paris mutates into an amphibian;  Q visits Voyager;  The first baby is born onboard;  Paris exposes a Maquis traitor; Seska and the Kazon seize the ship.
D Year Three: 
Paris and the Talaxians retake the ship from Seska;  A holoemitter frees the Doctor from sickbay;  Q wants Janeway to have his baby;  Voyager passes into space unknown to Neelix;  Paris and Torres begin a romance;  Janeway tries to bargain with the Borg.
E Year Four: 
Borg Seven of Nine joins the crew;  Kes evolves and sends the ship closer to home;  Paris & Torres admit they love each other;  The Doctor contacts Starfleet through an alien relay system ;  The vicious Hirogen stalk the crew as prey;  A vengeful alien sets an elaborate trap for Voyager, using a Federation starship as bait.
F Year Five: 
The Doctor and Seven "give birth" to a super drone;  The crew builds a radical new shuttle;  Chakotay and Kim change the past to save Voyager from destruction;  Species 8472 plans to infiltrate Starfleet;  Paris is demoted and sentenced to thirty days in the bring;  The Borg return for Seven of Nine;  Voyager ecounters another hijacked Starfleet vessel, and the angry aliens its crew has been murdering.
 
 
SERIES TIME PERIOD TIME SPAN / EVENTS
New Frontier

( NF )

A Events preceding Mackenzie Calhoun's assignment to the starship Excalibur, including: 
Young M'k'n'zy of Calhoun is recruited to join Starfleet after leading a successful revolt to freed his enslaved people;  Spock goes undercover on the Thallonian homeworld;  Mackenzie Calhoun's meteoric rise through Starfleet ranks lands him the job of First Officer on the ill-fated Grissom.
B Year One: 
Former Starfleet officer Mackenzie Calhoun, hero of the Xenex rebellion, is assigned to captain the starship Excalibur on its mission to patrol the disintegrating Thallonion empire.
C Year Two: 
The Dominion War consumes the attention of Starfleet, relegating Thallonian space to backwater status, and Mackenzie is outraged when his request to join the fray is denied.
