  TOS period D   Kirk commands the Enterprise as an admiral. (the first four movies)  
  TOS period E   Events between movies "The Voyage Home" and "The Final Frontier".  
  TOS period F   Star Trek V through Kirk's "death" on the Enterprise-B and its aftermath.   
  TOS period G   The continuing adventures of Kirk and his crew in Picard's time.
