About Petite Mew Mew (or PMM for short) ~ PMM is a mini manga series, which first appeared in Nakayoshi magazine, with the 2nd PMM story arc appearing in 2002 special winter break issue. All PMM Mangas was created by Ikumi Mia during the publishing of the original TMM mangas. The word petite is the French word meaning small and that�s why the characters in the manga are all chibi�s. You can find the PMM manga in vol. 5, 7 & a la mode vol.1 in the TMM mangas published by Kodansha or Tokyopop. The basic story is 5 girls (7 in a la mode) in Kindergarten, living in a different world, a wonderland with fairies & monsters, and all of the girls go on different adventures.
Petite Mew Mew 1 ~ Ichigo & the other Mew girls were eating some cakes for supper, all except Minto who was drinking some tea & says she will only eat the finest pastries. Purin then started to eat Minto's cake since she thought that Minto did not want it after all, which made Minto ran outside next to a tree & cry. Ichigo ran out to where Minto was & thought she will share her cake with her, but then she heard a group of people crying because the strawberry on everyone's cake was missing. Retasu told everyone that she made a clam-decorated cake to try to stop everyone from crying, but everyone thought that clam cakes were nasty. Ichigo was so determined to find the person who stole the strawberries, but she was distracted by some sand, she started to build a sand castle with Minto. Suddenly Kisshu showed up & destroyed Ichigo's sandcastle, aswell as throw stuff at people. Ichigo's friends suspects that it was Kisshu who stole the strawberries so they try to get their own back. Firstly Minto wanted to teach Kisshu a lesson, but Kisshu jumped onto Minto's sand castle & destroyed it, which made Minto cry. Next it was Purin turn to try to teach Kisshu a lesson, but she was distracted by one of his toys. Then Retasu tripped over & fell inside a bowl, making it impossible for her to move. Zakuro was too busy playing with the sand, so Kisshu turns to Ichigo & scared her away, so Ichigo runs away, but she trips over & falls. Kisshu was trying to make Ichigo cry & as Ichigo was about to cry, she looks at everyone & knew she had to be strong. Ichigo started to hold her tears back & shouted at Kisshu to apologise to everyone. Everyone started to look at Kisshu & then Kisshu finally apologises. Even though Kisshu was mean to everyone to start, Ichigo asks Kisshu to play with her & be friends with everyone, since he said he was sorry. Ichigo then heard a voice asking if he could play & it was Masaya, so Ichigo began to play with Masaya & Purin started to play with Kisshu.
Petite Mew Mew 2 ~ Ichigo & her friends found a baby bird all by itself & realised that it must have fallen from the tower, which was really high up. Minto suggest that it was her job to bring the baby bird up to its nest since she was a parrot girl, however after an attempt to fly, Minto falls to the ground. Ichigo thought that she could be a witch & bring the bird back to the nest, so she got a broom stick & tries to fly, however she falls on the ground. Ichigo tried to have several attempts at flying, but all the attemps was failing. Darkness falls & Ichigo starts to feel very tired. She goes home & tells the bird she will definitely bring her back home, then Ichigo falls asleep and had a dream. She dreamt that she became a witch with the other Mew girls & the bird was requesting to bring her back home, so Ichigo & the Mew girls got on their broom sticks & started flying. When Ichigo woke up from her dream she noticed the bird was gone, so she thought that the bird was able to fly by its self. She went outside to reunite with the Mew girls & they explained they all had the same dream.
Petite Mew Mew 3 ~ Ichigo was outside near the woods & she senses someone was watching over her. Purin yells out to Ichigo that it was time for snacks, so Ichigo head back to the house with Purin to eat some donuts. While the Mew girls were eating, Ringo & the animals were talking about a ghost story, about a Baron on a horse. Minto ask Ichigo if she was scared, but Ichigo tired to face her fear & said NO! to Minto. Later on, the Mew girls head out into the woods and Ichigo knew that if they walk too deep into the woods they will get lost & with Retasu's bright idea of leaving a trail behind, Zakuro started to shake out some shells out of Retasu's bowls to leave trails. Soon Retasu was out of trails, so Ichigo looked in her backback & found some candy which she thought she leave as trails. After some time the Mew girls had a picnic and Ichigo realised they should be heading home, but Minto fell fast asleep & just when Ichigo walked towards Minto, Zakuro grabbed Ichigo. Retasu then explains that there are sleepy flowers next to Minto, so she should not go near Minto. As the other Mew girls was about to head home to bring some adults to deal with Minto, the candy trail was gone & it was none other then Kisshu, Pai & Taruto who eat all the candy. As the three looked at the Mew girls Zakuro ran towards them & chased them away, then a monkey came & grabbed Purin away and then Retasu stumbled & fell down a cliff, leaving Ichigo all alone. Ichigo was in fear since she was afraid of ghosts & as Keiichiro was looking for Ryou, the prince, he accidentally mistaken Ichigo for him & scared Ichigo away. Ryou, then threw an object at Ichigo knocking her down, so that she would not scream since he did not want Keiichiro to find him. Ichigo thanked him for it, but Ryou said that there was no need to thank him & walked away. Ichigo started to have the fear of being alone, so she grabs hold of Ryou's shirt, wanting him to stay with her. When Ryou finally agrees to stay with Ichigo, Ichigo started to introduce herself, and when Ryou introduce himself he told her that he lived on a star. Ichigo thought that it was a cool idea to live on a star, but Ryou explains that he had to study & plan by himself & he was all alone with no friends. Ichigo was saddened by Ryou loneliness, so she decided to become friends with him, by sharing a cookie with him. Soon Ichigo started to fall asleep, but when she wakes up by Masaya voice, she realised that Ryou was gone. Ichigo was wondering what was Masaya doing in the woods & Masaya told her that the other Mew girls told him that she was lost in woods. Masaya then pointed to the stars & told Ichigo to head back home together. Meanwhile Keiichiro & Ryou was watching over them & Keiichiro said to Ryou "arent you going to say goodbye to your friend?", but Ryou repiled saying "Shut up!" As Masaya & Ichigo was still walking in the woods, Masaya said to Ichigo was she scared & Ichigo replied with a no! it was fun!
Petite Mew Mew 4 ~ The seven Mew girls are in the Kindergarten library where Ichigo found a book titled, Sleeping beauty, but when they looked through the book pages of the prince has been torn out. A sheep called Pulful pops out of the book and tells the girls that without the prince in the book, the princess will never wake up and tells the girls to help the princess. When Ichigo offers her help, Pulful takes the girls into the story book, and then they landed in front of the castle surrounded by thorns. Just when the girls thought they lost their chance of getting past the thorns, Zakuro rushes through and passes through them, then the girls realise they were small and the thorns were huge so they were able to pass them. Back at the Kindergarten library, Kisshu, Pai and Taruto saw the Sleeping Beauty book which they have torn out earlier and decided to torn out more pages. Now, when the girls passed the thorns the bridge to the castle was gone, however they took long jumps to get across and succeeded. After they reached the castle and went up the stairs and eventually found the Princess� room, where she was sleeping Ichigo & the girls tired to wake her up by different methods such as talking to her and singing, but Berii wasn�t pleased about it because she worry�s about the way the princess would feel if she wakes up just to find there�s no prince. After a few methods of trying to wake up the princess, the girls realises the princess is still not waking up, so Purin attempted to wake her up by hitting a gong, but before she could hit it, Berii stopped her and explains the reason the story will change. The other girls realises that Berii is right and Ichigo then steps up to Berii and tells her she is sure the prince will come somehow, so Pulful returns the girls back to the Kindergarten world. At the Kindergarten where the girls return, Berii was disappointed that she couldn�t save the princess, but then comes up with a plan to put drawings of the prince in the missing parts of the book. The other girls thought it was good idea, so they helped Berii with it, then when they finished the prince came out of the book and said that all the torn pages are fixed and thanks the girls, then goes back inside the book. The girls looked inside the book again and realises all the pages were fixed and also Ringo found out the title on the book has changed to Sleeping Beauty and the seven dwarfs because the seven Mew girls are the seven dwarfs of the story.
