How & when SNH! was created? ~ This website was created on 11th March 2004 and back then it was formally known as The Ichigo project and the site also started as a shrine to Ichigo, but it changed to general site when it was renamed as Saikou ni happy! on 4th May 2004. Due to the amount of broken links during the process of buliding & not enough content, the site was not officially opened untill June 2004. Actually I was not serious about building this site when I first started because I had loads of university work and hence not enough time, but the good news was I began to bulid this site properly near the end of June 2004 because I finished all my exams & was bored over the holidays.
Why TMM? ~ My greatest interest lies in manga & therefore I wanted to create an manga/anime site on one of my favourite series. Although TMM is not my favourite, (Cardcaptor Sakura is my top fave) out of my top 10, TMM was the most recent anime & besides there were not many TMM sites as I expected, therefore TMM was choosen. There are loads of anime fans in the UK & other countries who has not heard of TMM! (My website was the 3rd UK TMM site after Cafe Mew Mew & Mew Mew Madness) so the aim of this site is just to get more people to know about TMM & of course to let TMM fans enjoy ^_^
Why call it Saikou Ni Happy!? ~ Saikou ni happy means most happy! and it comes from the name of my favourite TMM song found on the Ichigo no CD; nano nyan! or Tokyo Mew Mew syper best hits CD; Cafe Mew Mew side. I really like the site name because there are lots of TMM site names which uses the word(s) mew, mews, ribbon, strawberry, neko etc... & prefer not to include any of those words in my site name. If my website was not called Saikou ni happy!, then my 2nd choice would be Rondo and my 3rd choice would probably be Mew project
Isn't it spelt "Saikouni Happy!"? ~ Before SNH! was created, most people spell it as "Saikouni happy!", but "Saikou ni happy!" is also the correct spelling, meaning both ways are correct. (It's abit like "Nakayosi" could be spelt as "Nakayoshi" with both ways being correct). The Hiragana word "ni" is a word which connects sentences, therefore I put a space in between to show it is linked to "saikou" and "happy!" I think most people are spelling it as "Saikou ni Happy!" ever since this site became widely known.
The success of SNH! ~ When the site first started, it never had many visitors until September 2004. During the time more advertisments of SNH! were made through Google & other TMM sites. Also thanks to Neko-Tokyo for linking SNH! because most people found SNH! the links page ^^ I never knew the site would become popular, so thats why I'm still updating today ^^ Arigatou Minna for making SNH! a success!!!
