I thought I will do a section on couples since there are loads of anime's which involves couples and they kind of play an important part in anime. Anyway since there are quite a lot of couples in TMM here are some info on all of the couples.
Ichigo & Masaya
This is the first ever couple we see in the manga/anime series. Ichigo is always going after Masaya, by looking for dates & always wondering whether Masaya will return her feelings. Whether Masaya likes Ichigo or not is unknown until he confessed his feelings for her. When Ichigo & Masaya became an official couple their relationship begins to get closer as Masaya starts to protect Ichigo & Ichigo revealing the truth of her identity.
Ichigo & Ryou
This is the couple which we are all talking about. Ichigo did have a little bit of a crush on Ryou, however she tries to get over it since she was in love with Masaya. We first see Ichigo & Ryou together when a Kirema Anima attacked Masaya & Ryou comes & saves Ichigo, and then Ichigo becomes a Mew Mew. Ichigo did thought that Ryou was a jerk at that time, however she did sort of got along with him at the end. Ryou on the other hand seem to be interested in Ichigo & is always protecting & saving her, especially when they are both in their cat forms.
Ichigo & Kisshu
As you know Ichigo first meet Kisshu when he jumped out of no where & kissed her. Kisshu always likes to go after Ichigo & kiss her, however Ichigo really gets annoyed whenever he does that and tries to attack back! When Kisshu sends out Kirema Animas to attack he is not always serious in hurting Ichigo & he can be protective since he tried to save Ichigo from Deep Blue.
Purin & Taruto
They are probably the cutest and youngest couple in TMM. When these two first meet Purin seem to be very annoying to Taruto, but things seem to change as the story goes on. When the two became friends in the manga Purin kissed him, and in the anime when Taruto was defeated by Pai, Purin was in tears.
Retasu & Ryou
In the manga we don't really them as much of a couple, except in vol.3 when Retasu was alone on the ship, Ryou offered her a drink and it seems as though they were getting closer at that time. Also after when Retasu saved a baby from drowning, she smiled when she sees Ryou�s face. In the anime we see them together quite alot of times. Retasu seem to like Ryou in a way as she always blushes, goes speechless & gets all shy every time Ryou is in her sight.
Minto & Zakuro
Zakuro is a very cool & beautiful model and the person who admires her most was none other then Minto. Minto always says "I want to be like her" and "shes so beautiful". Before Zakuro was a Mew, in the Manga, Minto was the person who suspects that Zakuro was the fifth Mew girl & she was hoping that Zakuro really is a Mew.
Berii & Tasuku
At the beginning of the a la mode Manga, we find Berii getting a little bit annoyed of Tasuku, since he is always creeping onto her and surprising her without any warning, but soon Berii realises that Tasuku really cares for her and is always doing his best to protect her, so Berii�s feelings for Tasuku begins to change and develop strong feelings for him. We first see Berii and Tasuku an official couple when Tasuku was brainwashed by the Saint Rose Crusaders, then Berii kisses him and says �I love you�
