Saikou Ni Happy! ~ About TMMABOUT TMM

Tokyo Mew Mew made its first appearance in Japan in early 2001 as a Manga and in Nakayosi maganzine. The creators were by Ikumi Mia (Illustrator) and Yoshida Reiko. The manga genre is classified as sci-fi, action and mahou shoujo (magical girls) series. The Sci-fi part in TMM features discoveries on endangered species, the action part in TMM comes from the girls fighting to defeat the kirema Anima's to protect the dangered spieces and magical girls part comes from the five mew girls transforming into their DNA endangered species & have the ability to attack with their weapons. Soon after a when a few Tokyo Mew Mew mangas were released it started to be created as an Anime and it became popular as a range of TMM merchandise became avaliable to buy in all good shops in Japan, including video games, toys, costumes, posters etc...

The Story
Tokyo Mew Mew is about dangerous species called "kirema Anima" infecting extinct animals, by injecting themselves into them and then they control the animals to attack humans. One fateful day five girls got injected and merged with a DNA of an extinct animal without any notice. Ichigo was the first person to become a Mew girl to protect and save the earth and after when a boy named Ryou saw the incident of Ichigo becoming a cat, he explained her mission.

As a mew girl, Ichigo had to search for the other 4 Mew girls to help her protect the earth as well as work in a cafe called "Cafe Mew Mew", but Ichigo tries to get close to her crush at the same time, which makes her upset about making excuses to get away from him in order to fight the Kirema Animas.

As time goes pass, Ichigo manage to find her 4 fellow Mew pals called Minto, Reatasu, Purin and Zakuro and her crush managed to confess his feelings for her (how sweet!). Ichigo's next mission, after finding the mew pals was to find the Mew Aquas, which is a rod which makes the Mew girls more powerful. Ichigo also meets up with a mysterious person called the blue knight, who saves and protects her in battle, but the question is.... who is he?

Things later start going wrong for the Mew girls near the end of the story as "Deep Blue" awakens. Deep blue is the most powerful alien in Tokyo, can Ichigo and her friends save Tokyo??? Well you got to surf my website to find out and for more information about the TMM story.
