Masha was originally known as R2000 and her former owner is Ryou, but since Ichigo became a Mew girl, Ryou decided to give R2000 to Ichigo to help her with the mission. Since Masha started to follow Ichigo around, Ichigo prefer to give it a name and so she named it Masha (after Masaya). She was about to name R2000 "Masaya", but she thought that it would be weird since Masaya was her crush. Masha becomes very useful to Ichigo as she is a ally who helped Ichigo find her other Mew pals as part of her first mission.
Masha is very huge in size, I will say about nearly the size of Ichigo's head, however it appears to be smaller in the manga.
Masha is able to sense any danger, Kirema animas or Masaya's persence or alert the Mew girls of any danger. Masha is also capable of collecting loads of Kirema animas after when the Mew girls defeat it.
