Peupeumoxmox means "yellowbird"
      peupeu is golden finch
      also
      peupeu means "bird"
      moxmox means "yellow"
      Proper name "peupeumoxmox" or "yellowbird".



   There were many Pa'sha (sunflowers) and peupeus (yellowbirds) in his homeland, the Wallawalla Valley (Washington State USA)






   This web site will be about the Life and Times of Peupeumoxmox, who was the Band Chief of the Wallawallapams, the Head Chief of the Wallawalla Tribe, and the Great Chief of the Ancient Wallawalla Nation, that covered l/3 of Washington State USA.

   The site will cover many different aspects pertaining to his lifetime, and also cover the history of the Wallawalla and Cayuse Indians, who lived in the area of the Wallawalla River.
