(4) Long-term sniffing can cause damage to kidneys, liver, heart, lungs and even the brain. Sixty four people died from solvent abuse in 2000 which is more than one person a week. The poilice cans top people taking them in public.
(5) It is illegal for shopkeepers to sell any product to a person under the age of 18 knowing that it will be inhaled for the purpose of abuse. In addition, cigarette fuel cannot be sold to under 18s |
