PEPPA PEER ED FACTSHEETS- RECLASSIFIED NOT LEGAL!!
Since January 2004 Cannabis has been reclassified to a Class C Drug!! Many people believe that Cannabis has been legalised, well think again! The Law may have been relaxed a bit but there are still serious concequences if you are found in possesion of cannabis!
Why has cannabis been reclassified?

The law puts illegal drugs into one of three categories. They are class A-C this is according to the harm they can do to you. Class A being the most harmful.
Since 1971, cannabis was placed in Class B. However, experts say that Cannabis is less harmful than class B drugs such as amphetamines. The government want to make the comparative dangers of different drugs much clearer, and so cannabis has been reclassified.

However it is still ILLEGAL, HARMFUL and WILL MUCK UP YOUR FUTURE PLANS!!
What is the Law Now?

Cannabis is still harmful and illegal and if you are under 18, you will be arrested and given a formal warning

You can also get up to 2 years in jail for possession and up to 14 years in jail for supplying or dealing. But remember giving your best friend a puff on your spliff is still classed as dealing!!
