Weekly events

You can access these in he raid screen, clicking at buttons at the right side. Most events are like main raid, areas with 10 fights you can beat, and at the end of each area, there is a bonus. These include crystals, stars and gems, but what is relevant are heroes cards. Most heroes, the single way to accumulating their cards is to beat areas in these events.

The weekly events are different from main raid in many ways. Most of them have just a few heroes allowed in your squad. AND, your squad defines how strong your enemies are, of course, because you need to get some bonuses even if you are a newbie, otherwise, how could you collect these heroes cards? This way, you can use knowledge to make things easier, or harder (which can be useful in case you need gold).

Example: Mines event allows just epic heroes. This includes your Blue Witcher, which is your main damage dealer, equipped with top artifacts. If you enter the event, enemies will be generated considering this, as the game checks your viable squad. If before entering the event you replace his artifacts for lame ones of another hero, generated enemies are weaker. Then you can put on him his great artifacts again, so you can advance more fights and get more rewards. You need to do this just once each week, as for next runs you can use some PORTALS.

Another important difference to main raid is, these events restart again after some hours (usually 12), so you can get rewards again (more cards, for example). After reaching, for example, fight 86 in your 1st run, you can reach fight 80 again without fighting, just using portals. Each portal you use moves you to next area, giving you the rewards. So imagine you changed your heroes artifacts, to make them weaker, entered the event, equipped them again, and went up to fight 86. Next run (when event restarts), you dont want change artifacts again, so you fight again up to 65, and are not able to advance more (your heroes were stronger when you entered the event, so enemies are also stronger). If you use a portal, you reach fight 71, and collect all rewards you would have by beating fight 70. You can use another portal and reach fight 81, also collecting rewards from fights 71-80.

Portals can be used to reach areas you reached previously, in case your have little time, or are lazy about fighting. Well, except for last area. If you have beaten fight 100 (supposing its the last event fight), you cant use a portal to go from fight 91 to 101 (this one does not exist). Can portals be used in main raid? Yes, but this is usually not needed, so its a waste.

NOTE 1: if you start fighting an event, even if the time is over, you can continue to play it (getting all the rewards), if you move from one fight to the next one using the Get and go to #XX fight" button. If you return to the event area, the game will check and you will need to restart from fight 1. Any fight that returns to the event area (even in main raid) will make the game to check, so, if the event should have restarted already, but it still informs the remaining time of the last time the game checked, you can enter any fight and leave, having fought it or not, and all events will have the correct time.

NOTE 2: some enemies fights may be a bad match up for your squad, for example because they have poison mages that kill your damage dealers even behind your tanks. If you reload the game, all remaining fights are generated again, and you can get a fight you can win, without those enemies that trouble you.

NOTE 3: usually the weekly events (not the main raid) will produce the gold you need to buy (gold priced) things from the merchant, and to produce medals leveling up your heroes.

There are other events that come from time to time, but this is the normal cycle of weekly events, that will restart each 9 weeks:
