This section covers construction of emergency shelters in the backcountry, as well as construction of tarp shelters and selecting a tent.  Due to the large amount of information the shelter section has been divided into three portions:  tarp shelters, snow shelters, shelters made from natural materials and tents.  These sections are graphics heavy, so they may take a long time to load.
