Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus each have a bracelet that they use to transform. When they say their planet name followed by "Power!", the bracelet transforms into the Jewellery Star Bracelet, a device each of the four wears on their wrists. After their appearance changes, shouting "Make Up!" continues the transformation.

Anime/Manga Comparison:
In the anime and manga, these four Sailor Guardians use special pens to transform. The pens seem to appear out of nowhere, and then disappear once they have transformed. In the manga, the pens were prizes from the Sailor V arcade machine at Game Center Crown (which Luna had tampered with).
