***All Students Years in School will be determined in comparison to Harry
Potter and his age in the books. This is only due to the fact that a specific
year does not ever seem to have been established and it is simply easier to
determine age in comparison to the central character.
Gryffindor house was founded by Godric
Gryffindor from wild moor. His ideal students were
those that showed strenth in courage and loyalty. Students in the Gryffindor
house are known for their courageousness, loyalty and action in a time of need.
The house colors are Red and Gold and the house animal is the Lion. The head of Gryffindor house during the books is Professor Minerva McGonagal

Colin Creevey~ In Book 2; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Colin was petrified by the basilisk and then returned to his normal state at the end of the book.
Dennis Creevey~ Became a 1st year when Harry was in his fourth year.
Seamus Finnigan~
Hermione Granger~ Hermione Granger is a first generation witch; both of her parents
are muggle dentists. She is repeatedly titled the
brightest witch of her age. Hermione excels in nearly any area in which study
can increase knowledge or ability. In Book 2; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Hermione was petrified by the basilisk and then returned to her normal state at the end of the book. She does not enjoy flying or divination,
however, neither of which seem to be amplified by texts and tombs. Hermione
has been a loyal friend of Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley throughout the
series of books, assisting in various ways in Harry's attempts to stop
Voldemort from regaining power. She is the president of S.P.E.W. or the
Society for the protection of elvish welfare with which she hopes to
liberate house elves from wizard oppression and earn them wages and benefits in their servitude. Hermione was an active member and founder of Dumbledore's Army
and had at least one aspiration to work in Muggle Studies as a career, though
with her apptitude will surely have a variety of career opportunities after matriculating. Hermione became a prefect in Book 5; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Angelina Johnson~
Lee Jordan~ Two years ahead of Harry Potter, Leed Jordan is the best friend of
Fred and George Weasley. He was the commentator for all
Quidditch games before
his departure in Book 5; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He
was a member of Dummbledore's Army
and also helped test Fred and George's Joke products.
Neville Longbottom~ The only "O" Neville acheived in his O.W.L.S. was in Herbology. His grandmother bought him a new wand in his 6th year which is made of Cherry and Unicorn Hair.
Natalie McDonald~ Became a 1st year when Harry was in his fourth year.
Cormac McLaggen~ Large, wiry-haired youth. Temporarily played Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team while Ron was recovering from being poisoned in Book 6; Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Also went to Slughorn's Christmas party with Hermione Granger in the same year.

Jack Sloper~ Was a Beater on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team in Harry's fifth year after Fred and George Weasley were banned from playing and their positions needed to be filled.
Dean Thomas~
Romilda Vane~ Bold looking girl with large dark eyes, a prominent chin and long black hair. Romilda brews a love potion to try to coerce Harry into entering a relationship with her. She puts the potion in a batch of chocolate cauldrons which are inadvertantly eaten by Ronald Weasley.

Fred Weasley~ Fred and George Weasley are twins, the 4th and 5th children of the
Weasley family. Though never aspiring to the same lengths of educational success as their three older brothers, the twins show a great apptitude for the creation of Weasleys Wizarding Weezes, a line of humorous joke items meant to aleiviate tension and aide in the skipping of classes and causing general mayhem. Their dreams became a reality when Harry gave them his 1,000 galleon winnings from the Triwizard tournament in order to start their own shop. With Harry as their benefactor the twins have been able to successfully start their own store and pull themselves out of the impoverished life they had been raised in and become successful businessmen. Both twins were active in Dumbledore's Army. Some of their inventions are "Canary Creams", "Extendable Ears" and fake wands which turn into anything from rubber chickens to haddock. Fred attended the Yule ball with Angelina Johnson, though whether this was a friendship "date" or anything beyond that is yet to be revealed. Both of the twins are close friends with Lee Jordan, a fellow Gryffindor of their year.

Ginny Weasley~ The seventh of seven children of the Weasley family and the only
girl, Ginny began as a shy, quiet individual. In her first year at Hogwarts in
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Ginny was taken over by Voldemort in the form of a diary left by Tom Riddle, Voldemort's true identity. Riddle had left the diary fifty years before as a Horcrux (revealed in Book 6: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) in which a seventh of his soul was stored to try
to acheive immortality. Through Ginny, Voldemort was able to re-open the
Chamber of Secrets and release a basilisk which succeeded in petrifying several students before it was finally destroyed by Fawkes
and Harry Potter. Ginny developed a crush on Harry Potter after seeing him on Platform 9 and 3/4 in Harry's first year.
On Hermione's advice, she dated several individuals in an attempt to get Harry to notice her. The tactic worked as of Book 6 when Harry finally realized his attraction to her and they became a couple. The relationship was short lived, however, when Harry decided he could not be attached with all he had to face. Ginny was an active member of Dumbledore's Army. Ginny attended the Triwizard Yule Ball with Neville Longbottom.She also dated Dean Thomas and Michael Corner.
Percy Weasley~ Third eldest of the Weasley children, Percy finished his studies
at Hogwarts at the end of Book 3; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
In his time as a HOgwarts student he was made prefect in Harry's first year and
Head Boy in Harry's third year. Percy has little patience for rowdiness and was
very serious about his studies. After finishing his schooling, Percy attained
a position at the Ministry of Magic as Bartemus
Crouch's assistance. He excels at writing reports and taking notes. He also acted
as the court scribe in Harry's disciplinary hearing at the ministry in Harry's
fifth year. After Mr. Crouch became unable to continue with his job, Percy was
often sent in his stead to oversee goings-ons in relation to the Tri-Wizard
tournament in Harry's fourth year. After the death of Mr. Crouch, Percy was
reprimanded for not realizing that his employer was under the imperius curse,
however he was promoted in Harry's fifth year which Percy's father was an attempt
by the ministry to spy on the Weasley family. This theory caused a rift between
Percy and the rest of the Weasleys, Percy stating that their poverty was to be
faulted to the parents and their unwillingness to support the ministry , instead
favoring Dumbledore. Percy moved out of the Burrow and to a flat in London.
Percy had a relationship with Penelope (????). He at one time owned
Scabbers, then Errol, but was
given his owl Hermes by his parents when appointed to
Head Boy.
Ronald Weasley~ The sixth of seven children, Ronald Weasley is the best friend of Harry Potter having been faithfully by his side since meeting on the Hogwarts expressin their first year. Ron's birthday is March 1st. Ronald has trouble sometimes with his insecurities having had to compete with five brothers as well as a famous best friend and his... "close friend" Hermione Granger who is one of the top students of their year. Ron became a prefect in Book 5; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix along with Hermione. He acheives the position of Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team in the same book, thouse his confidence waivers in that position as well. Ron had
a relationship with Lavender Brown of Gryffindor before seemingly becomming involved with Hermione Granger at the end of Book 6; Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. According to the Mirror of Erised, Ron desires to be Quidditch Captain and Head-Boy. He was a member of Dumbledore's Army.
Oliver Wood~ Gryffindor Quidditch Captain and
Keeper, Wood was a fifth year when Harry first
arrived at Hogwarts. After completing his schooling at Hogwarts, Wood was signed to play a reserve on __________
Quidditch Team which he tells Harry when he sees him at the Quidditch World Cup
in Book 4; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Euan Abercrombie~ Became a 1st year Gryffindor in Harry's fifth year.
