Mrs. Norris~ She is scrawny, dust-colored creature with bulging lamplike eyes just like her master's. She is a cat belonging to Mr. Filch, Mrs. Norris has an uncanny ability to find students misbehaving and "report them" to Filch. Even with this strange behavior there is no sign that Mrs. Norris is anything other than a standard cat. She was petrified by the basilisk in Book 2; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets; but was successfully revived and returned to patrolling the corridors.

Pigwidgeon~ A very small excitable owl that Sirius Black sent to Harry Potter to deliver his permission letter to attend HOgsmeade visits as well as a note to let him know that he and Buckbeak were safe. Sirius suggested that Ron Weasley keep the owl to replace Scabbers as a pet. Named by Ginny, Ron was unable to rename the owl anything else and became resigned to the name. Often called "Pig".
