Highlights of the week are the gala "Hommage à Cranko" on the 26th and the gala performance of "Onegin" 40 years after its world premiere on the 27th. September 24th, 2007 ENB presents the world premiere of Michael Corder's new ballet "The Snow Queen" at the Empire Theatre, Liverpool on October 11, based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen, with music by Prokofiev. August 28th, 2007 Sadler's Wells hosts between Wednesday 19 and Sunday 23 September the Morphoses/ The Wheeldon Company's much-anticipated world premiere season, featuring guest artists from The Royal Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and New York City Ballet. June 28th, 2007 In Hamburg on July 10 and 11 two gala performances of Neumeier's "The Lady of the Camelias" will be performed by the Principal Dancers of La Scala Alessandra Ferri and Roberto Bolle as Marguerite Gautier and Armand Duval, the Premiers Danseurs of the Paris Opera Ballet Isabelle Ciaravola and Christophe Duquenne as Manon Lescaut and Des Grieux and the former Etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet Michaël Denard as Monsieur Duval. June 8th, 2007 Artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet, Alexei Ratmansky, and ballet master-restorer Yuri Burlaka intend to revive the spirit of the initial production of "Le Corsaire", with libretto by Joseph Mazilier making use of notation preserved in Harvard University Library and offer audiences an original staging treatment which is premiered on June 21 in Moscow starring Svetlana Zakharova and Denis Matvienko. May 14th, 2007 From the 15th to the 18th of May Sadler’s Wells hosts four performances
by Darcey Bussell and guest artists including Roberto Bolle, Tamara Rojo,
Jonathan Cope, Edward Watson and Nicola Tranah, in a farewell show from

April 9th, 2007 The VII International Ballet Festival Mariinsky opens on Thursday with a revival of "The Awakening of Flora", ballet created in 1894 by Petipa with music by Drigo. March 19th, 2007 For the first time La Scala Ballet performs "La Dame aux Camélias",
one of the milestones of John Neumeier, reknown for narrative full evening
works and his contemporary concept of dramatic ballet by way of splendid
pas de deux, big danced scenes for the group and highlights for the soloists.
March 5th, 2007 John Neumeier is going to stage Anton Chekhov's play "The Seagull" at
Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Musical Theatre.
February 12th, 2007 On Wednesday farewell performance for Laurent Hilaire at the Paris Opera. He dances Apollo and the Wayfarer as his last roles. February 5th, 2007 On Saturday at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome Darcey Bussell offers her farewell performance in Italy during the Roberto Bolle Gala for Unicef. January 29th, 2007 The Bayerisches Staatsballett presents on Wednesday the première of Liska's production of "Le Corsaire", a feast of the spectacular with the charm and adventure of Conrad the pirate and his beloved Medora. January 15th, 2007 BBC One broadcasts on Sunday afternoon the Kirov Swan Lake recorded
last April with Uliana Lopatkina and the documentary "The Magic of Swan
Lake" presented by Darcey Bussell.
