From Tuesday to Thursday in Dartford RB dancer Ernst Meisner has put together a programme of 21st Century choreography and invited dancers from RB, Stuttgart Ballet and Kirov Ballet.
The programme includes two world premieres, the British premiere of Eagling's Duet, as well as works by MacMillan, Page and Tuckett. Also performed will be Ratmansky's Middle Duet, Delcroix's Sans Reponse and Forsythe's The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude.

2005 is the 200th birthday of August Bournonville, the dancer, choreographer and ballet master who gave the Royal Danish Ballet its distinctive profile. To mark the occasion, the company has organized the 3rd Bournonville Festival, which takes place in Copenhagen, starting from Friday. All of the Bournonville ballets that are still danced today will be performed on the stage of the Royal Theatre.

This Competition belongs to the cycle of International Ballet Competitions held under the auspices of the International Theatre Institute ITI (UNESCO) in Jackson, Moscow, New York and Varna.
