Our village (2004-05)

Waterford has links with Newfoundland since many Waterford people emigrated there in the early 1800's and in Scoil na Croise Naofa we explored those links by researching that time in our history. The children produced this artwork representing that Journey to a New Life.

Next Tuesday 22 February 2005 our parish will have over thirty children confirmed in the faith by the Holy Spirit. Bishop Lee will visit us and celebrate this wonderful sacrament . We have taken the theme of Spring to help us visualise the one life / one breath / one spirit which the boys and girls will receive. Here are some images which link into this moment in the children's lives.
