OPEN SECTION: Sixty-five (65) minutes in the 1st round and Seventy-five
(75) minutes to complete all other games.

Please note that a number of the individuals listed above will be at the
Jamaica Pegasus on Tuesday and Wednesday April 10 and 11, between 9 and
3 pm at the Primary/Prep Schools Chess Champs, so individuals wishing
to register may do so at that time.
Registration for Round 2 onwards closes at the end of the first round
on Saturday
NB: Half (½) point bye available only for first round and will
only be allowed after proper registration. This is not noted for late
entry; in addition all late entries will be qualified for only the second
round.
PROPER REGISTRATION means paying the relevant fee(s) in addition to completing
the registration form.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
Adult - $2000 per year/$1,000 for 6 months
Juniors (under 20 as at January 01, 2007) - $1000 per year/$500 for 6
months
GUARANTEED PRIZES
OPEN SECTION: 1st $10,000 plus trophy.
AMATEUR SECTION: 1st - J$5,000 plus trophy.
Other prizes include best Under 8, 10, 12 and 14 year-old players, best
rural player, best female player, and best new player.
